Presenting energy-efficiency in your household at the King Memorial Library

  • Thursday, May 9, 2024, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

The King Memorial Library will host a program on energy efficiency and sustainability on May 9th at 4:30 p.m. with the CCE-Cattaraugus Sustainability Campaign Educator. This program will educate residents on how to become more sustainable, reduce energy costs, and improve homes to be more energy efficient, comfortable, and safe. The presentation will provide information on insulation, weatherization, and air sealing in homes, as well as access to energy assessments and low-cost financing.

To help New Yorkers navigate the clean-energy economy, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has created Regional Clean Energy Hubs with counselors who have experience with clean energy, energy efficiency, workforce and economic development, energy literacy, and weatherization.

The program is free, and no pre-registration is required. Contact our Sustainability Educator with questions at (716)-699-2377 Ext. 106 or sustainableswny@cornell.edu
