Chickens are a popular addition to backyard gardens.Are you considering raising chickens?On May 23rd we will be hosting a fun event answering all your questions about raising chickens at home, for food, fun or part of your garden pest management program.
Our 4-H Team and local Master Gardeners have teamed up to discuss everything you should know about caring for backyard poultry followed by a spring “mocktail” event.Fun drinks you can make/serve using some ingredients from your backyard or local farmstand, even if you don’t raise chickens.
Non-alcoholic drinks and finger food/snacks will be available. We hope you will stay and mingle to discuss your flock or get your questions answered from our teams.All ages are welcome to attend.
Event is being held at CCE Cattaraugus 28 Parkside Drive, Ellicottville NY
May 23rd 5:30-7pm
Cost is $5.00 per person (which can be paid at the event).We will have local eggs as a door prize to give away to attendees.
