2025 Chainsaw Safety Waitlist

CCE Cattaraugus will be offering the Game of Logging Chainsaw Safety courses in 2025 at the Pierce Whitney Forest in Machias NY. Options for courses include Level 1, level 2 with additional classes be offered if there is enough interest including Level 3 and Level 4 and an all-female class (level 1). Please mark all selections on the waitlist form so that we may plan appropriately.

By adding your name to this waitlist, you will be notified when the course date is set and receive the first opportunity to register for the date of your choice. Details of the dates and location GPS will be sent when registration is open.

Class will start at 8am - 4:30pm with a break for on location lunch break.

Cost will be $175.00 per participant per class/level 1, each additional level will be $150.00

All participants are required to have safety equipment during class and access to a working chainsaw at the time of the class.

Safety equipment detail will be sent at time of registration but include:

Eye protection, ear covering/plugs, helmet, chainsaw chaps.

Fully working chainsaw with safety bar.

Further information will be available when dates are finalized for 2025.
